  • Do not exceed 40 lb per tower. 
  • Do not extend components more than 4 inches beyond the front or rear most towers.
  • Always respect the maximum load limit specified by Ford. 
  • Inspect and tighten all hardware after the first 100 miles and every 500 miles thereafter.
  • Check overall rack integrity monthly or every 500 miles.
  • Do not climb on the rack or install a rooftop deck.
  • Use all attachment points for maximum safety. 
  • The van owner/installer assumes all the risks associated with rooftop-mounted items.
  • Use M8 bolts, typically 25–35 mm long, to secure brackets to the van roof.
