The Separett Tiny 1270 is a compact, waterless composting toilet made for vans, RVs, boats, cabins and tiny homes. It separates urine from solids right away, which dramatically reduces odours, and collects urine in a removable 7.1 L container that is easy to empty.
Key Features
A flexible ventilation hose, sold separately, lets the toilet slide in and out of a cabinet. The full specifications and the installation manual are in the tabs below.
Clean, simple and odour-free comfort on every trip. We install composting toilets at our van conversion shop in Gatineau, near Ottawa.
The urine-diverting design separates liquids from solids right away, which dramatically reduces odours. No water or septic system needed.
A quiet, low-energy 12 V fan runs continuously to remove moisture and odours, using only about 0.04 kWh per day.
Runs on your van's 12 V system or on regular mains power with the included adapter.
Works in cold or warm spaces, with no room temperature requirement.
Designed and made in Småland, Sweden, from recyclable materials.
The Tiny 1270 collects urine in a removable 7.1 L container. The Tiny 1271 drains urine through a tube to an external tank or greywater system, so there is no container to empty. See the Specifications tab to compare.
Vent through the wall, floor or roof. Maximum length: 5 m of Ø 50 mm rigid pipe or 3 m of flexible hose, with up to two 90° elbows for rigid pipe. A flexible hose lets the toilet slide in and out of a cabinet.
Keep a constant downward slope of at least 2° (about 2 cm per metre) with no air pockets. Beyond the supplied hose, use a pipe with an internal diameter of at least 40 mm, and insulate any outdoor pipes in winter.
