VELIT 2000R | ROOFTOP AIR CONDITIONER | 12/24/48V

The VELIT 2000R is a high-efficiency DC rooftop air conditioner for van conversions, RVs and work vehicles. Its twin-cylinder rotary compressor runs directly on 12V, 24V or 48V battery systems and draws about 20 A on 12V. It is designed to keep cooling for long periods, even in temperatures up to 126 °F (52 °C).

Since it runs on DC, there is no need for a large inverter. That keeps the installation simpler and the power draw lower. The unit needs only 7″ of clearance on the roof and fits a standard 14″ × 14″ cut-out.
